Craig McWilliam's 'delectable' dishes are Scottish with a modern European influence. 2 lounges, restaurant, bar, conservatory. No background music. 31/2-acre garden. Children welcomed. 20 bedrooms (3 on ground floor, with patio). B&B £78--£85 per person; D,B&B £97--£109 (min. 2-night stay). Closed Dec--Feb
  • The setting is beautiful and the house is charming. A lounge where a log fire always burns is cosy, and there is also a delightful residents’ lounge with a lovely outlook. Staff are delightful. The menu included excellent beef and salmon, beautifully presented. Breakfast included wonderful local produce.

  • A place of perfect peace, comfort, and food that suits us perfectly, in portions that we can just about finish. Service by friendly young staff, supervised kindly by the super-efficient Graeme Lamb.
