Furnished with Arts and Crafts antiques, Carol and Gordon Bulloch's environmentally friendly B&B is in an Edwardian house in a rural position, a few minutes' walk from town. 'Attention to detail was superb and there were lots of little touches.' Freshly baked offerings are left daily by the 'cake fairy' in the elegant bedrooms. The extensive breakfast menu has a Scottish flavour, using home-grown produce and eggs from the Bullochs' flock of Black Rock free-range hens. Drawing room, dining room (quiet, contemporary Scottish background music), veranda; secluded garden (wildlife pond, summer house). Wi-Fi (computer available). Parking (garage for motorbikes and cycles). 3 bedrooms. B&B £70--£110 per person
