The Rosemary

Review

On a quiet residential road in this Cornish port, this stylish B&B is run by new owners, Niall and Nikki MacDougall, who took over last October.  'Our room was large, clean and very attractive,' said others. 'Squashy sofa and slimline TV.' The white-walled, grey-roofed Victorian house is a short walk from the town centre, and close to the South West Coast Path. It contains a collection of paintings by contemporary Cornish artists; there is Wi-Fi access throughout, a small bar, and a pretty south-facing garden with a sun deck. The 'very comfortable lounge' looks over the garden to the sea. There are good sea views too from the room where 'wonderful breakfasts are served using local produce'. 'Excellent value for money.' (Harold Wood and Neil Lucas, Pauline Foster, and others)
