Good Hotel Guide selection of hotels in Continental Europe
We are delighted to announce that we are going to start recommending hotels in mainland Europe once again. We will begin slowly with just a few of our personal favourites, but we hope readers will nominate their favourite European hotels so that we can gradually build up the numbers again. That is the way the Good Hotel Guide began 33 years ago when Hilary Rubinstein, a literary agent, asked all his friends to nominate their favourite hotel.
Please do help us get this exciting project off the ground. The more help and feedback we get from you our readers, the more reliable and comprehensive our selection of Continental European hotels will be.
The Guide readers trust
‘Thank God for the Good Hotel Guide for directing us to these places. So many of the numerous guides on the market have an odour of sponsorship about them.’ Michael Wace
‘No one in their right mind would go near a hotel without your advice.’ David Taylor
‘We do realize the value of a book like the Good Hotel Guide after experiences like this.’ Kate & Jim Craddock.
‘As ever the GHG is priceless. Or, in words often heard here in the Deep South, now taken generically as referring to the book, its editors and its contributors: ‘You da MAN!’American reader.
'Too many hours on the internet searching for hotels when you do it in one. That's why I had to buy the Guide again.' Caroline Roots.
