Restored Georgian features have been combined with luxury modern touches and high-tech gadgetry (including a 27-seat cinema) in this Grade II listed country house owned by Catherine and Martin McAlpine. The hotel is in the Aeron valley, four miles from Cardigan Bay and the picturesque village of Aberaeron; there is good walking, cycling and fishing, and plenty of local attractions. Fantastic room food and owners, brilliant welcome. We felt very much at home. Nice to see the locals using the restaurant.
