Eugene and Gerardine Kielt run a guest house at their Victorian home in the centre of this small town. They offer coffee and home-made scones on arrival, and expect a guest to 'come as a stranger and leave as a friend'. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and decidedly literary, with a rich collection of Seamus Heaney memorabilia on display, and comfortable bedrooms named after Ulster poets. The host, a Blue Badge guide, arranges poetry readings and tours of 'Heaney country'. No background music. 2 lounges, dining room. Children welcomed. 4 bedrooms. B&B £40--£60 per person
