Good Hotel Guide Review
Away from the crowded waterfront of this old fishing port near the Spanish border, this modestly priced B&B hotel, “not luxurious, but good value”, is up a steep side street. The rooms vary, but all have air conditioning. Street-facing ones hear traffic, and one visitor thought the lighting “poor”. But most rooms are praised: “My front room was decorated in fresh yellow.” My third-floor room, up steep stairs, had French windows opening on to its own little terrace surrounded by lavender bushes.” Public areas have Catalan paintings. There is a large high-ceilinged reception area, and a “pleasant, smallish” swimming pool with bar. “The views over mountains are beautiful, especially as the sun sets.” For meals, Le Trémail and El Capillo are recommended.
