Good Hotel Guide Review
Part country retreat, part boutique hotel, Pip and Jonathan Barber’s self-contained B&B suites are wholly luxurious. There are just three very chic, very private suites, each with its own entrance and a terrace for watching spectacular sunsets across the countryside. An in-room tablet computer acts as online concierge: order breakfast, download a newspaper, plan a day of exploration. Extra comforts include mood lighting, a sumptuous bed, a deep bath in the bathroom; books, DVDs and a pair of binoculars are thoughtful touches. A well-equipped dining area in the room is stocked with posh muesli and cereals, organic yogurts, fruits, juice and croissants; a cooked breakfast (charged extra), ordered the night before, may be delivered to the door. 5 miles from Hunstanton; beaches, pubs and restaurants are close by. Free Wi-Fi, in-room TV (on-demand movies). No background music. 3-acre grounds (parkland, woodland). Parking. Infants (cots) and dogs (1 per room; £10 per night) welcomed. Resident dog, Gin. 3 suites (all on ground floor, 2 in converted barn). Per room B&B (continental) £105–£129. Cooked breakfast £5–£7.
