A good-value option for the seaside resort, Graham Poole and Ian Balmforth’s traditional hotel is close to the Winter Gardens, the promenade and the beach. The flower-bedecked entrance welcomes visitors to the bay-fronted house; inside, find a spot to relax in the comfortable sitting room and homely bedrooms. Suites with a lounge and kitchenette can accommodate a family. Most afternoons, enjoy home-made cakes and snacks in the traditional English tea room.
