Fashion, design and dining out Scandinavia's coolest city is known for its innovative fashion and design scene, but it's also compact and easy to navigate, with bicycle-friendly cobbled streets and sherbet-coloured townhouses interspersed with quirky galleries and boutiques. Copenhagen is also the place to try New Nordic cuisine – Noma was voted the World's Best Restaurant in 2014, but there are many lesser-known but excellent restaurants where chefs are experimenting with local produce; the city has no less than 15 Michelin-starred restaurants. There's plenty to see, such as several royal palaces, ancient churches, world-class museums, art galleries and striking modern architecture. There's also plenty for families, including an amusement park and aquarium. Read more about our hotels in Copenhagen.
