Some places are great to visit at any time of year, but we’d recommend going to Vienna at Easter as it’s a special time – with lots to see and do.

Easter markets, selling traditional painted eggs and related items, tasty high-quality chocolate and special music concerts all add up to make for a great experience.

And don’t miss out on the traditional Austrian Easter brunch. which traditionally is blessed at Easter Mass before the meal, and includes delicious dishes like sweet bread (osterpinze), cold meats, and eggs.
