A former pineapple plantation, it consists of the Pineapple House, a hotel with bedrooms designed by Ralph Lauren, and 27 fully staffed villas of two to six bedrooms. It boasts of its 'timeless elegance, understated luxury and warm Jamaican heart' and feeling of 'a comfortable, and family-oriented private club'. Families are welcomed: there is a Kids' Club for three- to eight-year-olds, and baby-sitting can be arranged. There is an infinity swimming pool and a spa in an adjacent bay, and some of the villas have a private pool. Executive Chef Martin Maginley provides contemporary Caribbean cuisine, using locally grown, sustainable produce whenever possible.
