New owners, Luc and Magaly Dupont have taken over this chambres d'hôtes which stands amid vineyards only 5km from Carcassonne, within easy driving distance of the wild Cathar country further south. Two granaries of the old stone farmhouse, with original exposed beams, have been turned into three bedrooms and a large living/dining room with open fire. 'The decor is earthily artistic, the bedrooms are pretty and rustic, and their lighting is good.' 'Our two-year-old daughter loved the woodland and the resident cats,' says a visitor. 'Breakfast [fresh breads, home-made jams, local honey, yogurt] was delicious.'
