Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
High above the road, on the far side of the village (Sulden in German), this chalet-style hotel has fine views to the glacier and the Ortler range of mountains. Furnished in modern Alpine style, it has lots of wood panelling and pale wood floors, 'but no kitsch', says a nominator. The dining room has a large glassed extension facing the valley, there are lots of sitting areas and a sunny terrace. 'Our comfortable room had a fantastic mountain view from the bed. The Signora was charming and efficient. Breakfast is a good buffet. Dinner, served by attractive, well-trained waitresses, had five courses except one evening when it had seven and a zither player.'
