The setting of M. and Mme Boyère's modern hotel is 'splendid', say visitors to the lovely Rhuys peninsula. Others wrote of 'a spacious feel, a friendly patron'. 'A rough lawn leads to the sandy, rocky, seaweedy beach, almost empty at the end of June. Bathing was safe: lots of little boats to swim to.' Many of the 'small, plain' rooms face the sea, as do the sunny dining areas. Monsieur's cooking, specialising in fruits de mer, is 'accomplished', menus are 'perfectly balanced', and 'service was faultless'. In the high season there is a choice of two or three set menus, but guests can order just one dish if they choose. 'Delicious breakfast pastries.' 'Excellent value, highly recommended.'
