The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Located in the central but edgy neighbourhood of Vesterbro – formerly seedy, but rapidly being gentrified – is this smart, modern hotel. Standard rooms are very small, and some are noisy (quieter rooms face the courtyard), and there's no air-conditioning, but the amenities and reasonable rates more than make up for this. The hotel offers a 24-hour policy, by which you can have your hotel for 24 hours, meaning late check-outs are possible. Tea and coffee is available in the lounge, a continental breakfast is included, and during a happy hour from 5-6pm guests can enjoy free wine and mingle with other guests. Rooms don't have telephones but guests have the use of a mobile phone for their stay. Sister hotel Absalon Hotel has a similar aesthetic but is larger in size.
