The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Located in the old part of Copenhagen, in a white 1950s building near Rosenberg Castle and the King's Garden (and a ten minute walk to the city centre), this reasonably-priced hotel offers four types of rooms decorated in contemporary Scandinavian style. Standard rooms are small, so the more spacious superior rooms are recommended. Some of the rooms will benefit from the gradual renovations that are being undergone, but prices are good for the area and staff are friendly and helpful. In addition to a plentiful continental breakfast buffet, there's a 24/7 snack bar, which has free tea, coffee, juice and Danish cookies for guests to help themselves to. Tea making facilities for the room are also available on request.
