Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
M. and Mme Charrade's 'typical Parisian small hotel, narrow, on 6 floors', is located just off Boulevard St-Germain and a stroll away from Luxembourg Gardens and the Notre-Dame. The hotel is 'quiet, comfortable, scrupulously clean; reasonable rates; high-standard decor, unfailingly helpful service.' A wood-panelled sitting room, located just off the breakfast room, invites relaxation with a fireplace and bookshelves. All the rooms have charming floral wallpaper; some of the upper rooms have sloping ceilings but great views to compensate. Front-facing rooms are noisier than rooms facing the courtyard, but these rooms can be smaller and not as light. The breakfast buffet is plentiful.
