Some annexe rooms may be 'a bit basic', but their bathrooms are modern. 'Our very comfortable suite had a spacious bedroom and a conservatory with magnificent views of river and surrounding hills.' Everyone admires the food. It is served on a river-facing terrace or in the 'very attractive' dining room, 'run with calm efficiency'. 'One of the best meals we have eaten. French food at its finest.' There's a lovely garden with statuary. Some rooms hear cargo trains night and day, but double glazing is efficient. Condrieu is 'not an attractive town'.
