Located by the Théâtre des Célestins, this B&B is much used by visiting actors. The lobby, with its painted walls and dramatic red and gold tones, is reminiscent of a theatre, but the rooms are decorated in more neutral beige, taupe, grey and plum shades – a different colour for every floor. The rooms and corridors display paintings, in keeping with the hotel's name. Visitors found it 'friendly, unpretentious, very central' and their room 'small but nicely decorated'. There's an underground parking garage across the road, which is very convenient if you are driving.
