“Perfect for families with children”, this holiday hotel is on the beach at the “best” end, near the harbour, of this seaside resort near Náfplio. Owner/manager Yannis Georgidakis “takes an interest in all that goes on”, sayfanas. He is supported by other members of the family and a “helpful staff”. Another comment: “Teamwork is the key factor: everyone seems personally involved.” The recently refurbished best bedrooms have a balcony (“the moon on the sea is beautiful”); back ones overlook houses. All rooms are “well furnished, immaculate”, and have air-conditioning, a safe, etc. “Good bathroom, constant hot water.” The restaurant faces the beach through picture windows. Dinner consists of a hot and cold buffet of traditional Greek dishes, or you can choose from the carte which includes “fresh fish, tender pork and lamb, all cooked to order”. Drinks and snacks, from the “perpetually open café/bar”, are taken on a sheltered patio. Breakfast has fruit, yogurt, cheese, cold meats, etc. In summer, tables and chairs stand on the sand by the shallow, clean sea. Water sports are available, and boat trips start from the nearby jetty.
