Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Full of the vibrancy of bohemian old Soho, this new hotel in the capital was launched by a group of friends. The exuberance of the interiors is dazzling, seeming to draw inspiration from everything from the Jazz Age to the Grand Tour or even a high-class madam’s boudoir. Among 300 artworks you might spot an original Warhol or Bacon. Bedroom décor is more restrained, though suites benefit from a cocktail bar in the shape of an elephant (the hotel’s mascot) and even standard rooms have air conditioning, state-of-the-art entertainment, an espresso machine, Oritigia bath products, and complimentary phone use should you need to make a trunk call. There is a street-level café, rooftop Flute bar with wraparound terrace, modern Italian cooking in Dear Jackie restaurant.
