The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Owned by Huw Awada (a former London hotelier) and his Irish wife Geraldine, this hotel is set in a handsome old stone building in a village perché (which has a 12th-century castle, fine views and llamas) located near Mont Ventoux. The area is popular with cyclists and the hotel has bike storage. Visistors found “excellent value; we had a great room in the annexe with wonderful view. The restaurant is excellent and with attentive staff.” There's a dining room with exposed beam ceilings, or a lovely terrace with lots of flowers and views onto olive groves, orchards and vineyards. Half-board options are available.
