Good Hotel Guide Review
Close to the Invalides and the Rodin museum with its fascinating garden, this former hôtel particulier’s owner, Jean-Marc Pommier, who is much in evidence, has extensively decorated in Louis XVI and Empire style. Furniture has been specially made for the hotel. ‘The rooms are comfortable and clean,’ says a Canadian visitor on his second visit. ‘Bathrooms are spacious.’ Most bedrooms face the ‘quiet, lovely’ courtyard with its creepers, bushes and flowers. The continental breakfast, served until midday, and taken in the bedroom, dining room or in summer in the courtyard, has fresh-baked pastries, etc; eggs, yogurt and fresh juices cost extra. Front rooms may hear traffic. The Assemblée Nationale is close by, so many guests are politicians, embassy staff, etc
