Thierry Claudon's B&B hotel is fairly inexpensive despite its grand name, and is housed in an elegant old building in a quiet, pleasant street near Assemblée Nationale, Invalides and Musée Rodin. Rooms, with wooden furniture and flooring, feel a little dated but this adds to the charm; reception staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and speak good English. The simple breakfast includes freshly-baked bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cheese.
