Good Hotel Guide Review
Quietly set by St Agnes Monastery (and once part of the convent) this hotel is composed of two listed buildings in the Gothic style. It is owned by the Kotikova famiky; Katerina Kotikova is the manager. It is ‘a good place for peaceful collapse after exploring the city’, say its nominators. The bedrooms are ‘stylish and spacious’; there is a pleasant courtyard for summer meals and drinks. ‘Slow service at breakfast, but the buffet choice was excellent.’ Well placed for the Old Town Square, but ‘out of earshot of the louder British visitors’, it offers ‘particularly good deals in July, August and winter’.
