The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Inspired by the deeds and lives of famous generals and military leaders throughout history, this upscale hotel is in a quiet location between the Vltava River and the Andel business area. Cotnemporary it is not, but it is certainly comfortable, with a welcome drink on arrival, large rooms with work desks and sitting areas, and a restaurant serving Mediterranean, French, Greek and Russian fare as well as traditional Czech dishes. There's also a wine bar in the cellar, but be warned that it allows smoking. Service has a very personal touch.
