The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
'Service is impeccable yet friendly,' say visitors to this white-fronted hotel. The location is 'just right'; near the left bank of the Vltava, on a busy boulevard below the castle, in the Malá Strana district of offices, embassies and smart restaurants. Street-facing rooms have double glazing; there is a flowery inner courtyard where meals are served, and in summer, the Café Ria (offering light meals) opens on to a terrace with parasols and potted plants. The Ada restaurant provides Czech and international fare: 'Really good food, expensive for Prague, but good value for us. Our spacious suite was well furnished, immaculate; public areas were comfortable, though short of seating, except for the large bar/breakfast room.'
