The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Located on a peaceful street just one minute's walk from the Old Town Square, this small boutique hotel is set in a 14th-century building and has just 6 rooms. They are individually furnished and very spacious, with wooden or parquet floors, handmade tapestries and seating areas; some have painted ceilings. Deluxe rooms have iMacs for guest use and Nespresso machines, and they all overlook the Gothic Týn Church. There are some steep stairs and there's no lift, but porter help is available. Breakfast is served in the basement of the next door Italian restaurant, 'Vabene'. There's also a bar, and staff can provide helpful information for touring the city. Reception is three doors down, at Týn 10.
