Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
In the city centre, this Renaissance palace is now a 'beautiful and gracious' hotel with 'stunning' lounges filled with antiques and art treasures, and neo-classical drawings and sculpture by Giovanni Duprè, an ancestor of the owners. 'We loved the Mona Lisa spoof paintings in the library. The bar is charming,' wrote one visitor; the barman, Vincenzo, is highly praised. The buffet breakfast in a pretty room has good bread, cheese, rolls and fruit, and 'lovely service'. Rooms vary in size: all have antiques, some have a wooden ceiling, some have a balcony facing the 'beautiful garden'.
