Good Hotel Guide Review

On the edge of the village, 20 minutes by car from Oxford, Sigrid Grawert’s B&B has stylish modern bedrooms and a breakfast porridge selection that’s hard to beat. Bedrooms, including two single rooms, are provided with thoughtful amenities: fluffy robes; a welcome tray with coffee, teas and a cool drink. The best room has a private balcony, and a freestanding bath in the bathroom. Sit in the sun if the weather cooperates: an outdoor seating area has been newly created. Communal breakfasts include freshly squeezed orange juice, home-baked bread, home-made jams and marmalade; whisky porridge is a speciality. Vegetarian and special diets are catered for. 3 miles W of Abingdon.

Guest comments

'I'm always suspicious of reviews which find everything perfect, and look for the "but"', but here I can't find one! I endorse everything the Guide says. Everything was perfect. Though half-timbered this is a modern detached house, and it is on a busy main road, so that turning in and out is not easy. ' - Christine Hughes - July, 2017
