The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Right in the heart of Downtown Soho (SOuth of HOuston St) lies this small, intimate, boutique hotel in a characterful townhouse with a 19th-century Federalist facade. Even though the neighborhood is bustling and buzzing, the hotel is very quiet, with double glazing in every room. There is an airy courtyard atrium, which gives the hotel a distinctly European feel. Rooms are all clean and tastefully designed. The best room is the lovely penthouse. Art around the walls is from the owner's personal collection. The service is friendly and personal, and unlike many hotels in New York, there is a complimentary continental breakfast served, which is very popular.
