The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
On 56th street in Midtown, close to the stores of Fifth Avenue, Radio City Music Hall and Central Park, is this informal, modern, stylish hotel. Service is friendly, and the lobby has lovely high ceilings and an atmospheric atrium. The hotel itself was formerly a parking lot, and the ceilings of the rooms have the original industrial pock marks, which many guests like. Rooms themselves are all tastefully designed, some with bath. Double glazing means all the rooms are quiet. Complimentary ipads/laptops/ipods for use upon request. Breakfast/lunch/dinner at Ma Peche Restaurant (from the founder of Momofuku).
