Good Hotel Guide Review
On a former dairy farm, Amanda and Lee Jay invite guests to ‘rest, graze and roam’ in their strikingly transformed 150-year-old barn. Vast glass doors open into a dramatic beamed space. ‘Rest’ begins on the oversized sofas by a roaring wood burner in the sitting room, and continues in the bedrooms above (some interconnecting). Rooms have a wide bed, fluffy bathrobes, a smart bathroom with luxury toiletries; the best gaze out at the Malvern hills. ‘Graze’ starts with the breakfast: the hostess, a MasterChef quarter-finalist, might whip up home-made granola, poached eggs on avocado, a Full Bull. Walking boots are a must: great ‘roaming’ from the door. A cooking school is planned.
