The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Meandering down to a private beach, glorious sub-tropical gardens enfold this secluded Victorian mansion. The hotel has plenty of places in which to relax. Sit at parasol-covered tables on lawns and terraces. Inside, a cheerful drawing room has colourful sofas, plants and a fire for cooler months. Linking the main house to the 1960s-themed bedrooms (some with a terrace or balcony), the Bridge affords wonderful views over the grounds. Cocktails, local gins, small bites and sharing plates are served in Freddie's bar. In the restaurant, local fish and seafood feature on the inventive set menus. The South West Coast Path is at the end of the garden. Part of Kingfisher Resorts.
