Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
In the historic centre, on the traffic-free square in front of the cathedral, this “tastefully decorated” hotel, managed by its owners, Alain Céziard and Simone Ligier, offers “good value”, say Guide readers. Many of the “characterful” bedrooms have been renovated this year. They are priced according to position and size; most are quiet (“the cathedral bells are not overpowering, thanks to double glazing”) but some economy rooms are really small and without exterior windows. Room 48 is the former chapel. Colours are bright; bathrooms are modern. The good buffet breakfast is served in a “delightful” room. A porter/driver helps with luggage, and bicycles are provided free.
