Good Hotel Guide Review
Although it’s located in the leafy residential neighbourhood of Tres Torres, away from the hustle and bustle, this boutique hotel has a metro station five minutes’ walk away with a direct route to Placa de Catalunya (20 minutes). Family-owned since 1955 (the family still live on the first floor), the hotel was completely renovated in 2011 and has a sleek, contemporary feel, with dark wood furnishings and white linens; some rooms have terraces, and those in the attic have sloping ceilings. Suites have living areas, and there’s an apartment sleeping up to 4 people. There’s no restaurant, but the bar offers snacks and salads during the day, and a number of good dining options are within an easy walk of the hotel. Best of all, there’s a pool – it’s small, but refreshing, plus a library and two salons for relaxing in.
