Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Behind the medieval façade of a collection of buildings in the Gothic Quarter is this 'ultra modern', stylish hotel. The 'very quiet' rooms have wooden floors, original ceiling beams and exposed brickwork, and some have freestanding tubs in the bedroom (which may not suit everyone's tastes). They look out onto the street or onto an interior courtyard with orange trees. Staff are 'professional and welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was very good', says a recent visitor. The Mercer restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and Le Bouchon serves tapas and light French dishes such as quiche. There's a cocktail lounge, a bar next to the pool and a terrace with sun loungers.
