Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
You can see the remains of Pompey's theatre (55BC) in the breakfast room/bar of this small hotel run by the Cavarocchi-Mignoni family. In the historic centre, close to Piazza Navona and the Campo de' Fiori, the four-storey terraced building is on an almost traffic-free, cobbled side street, 'ideally situated for reasonably fit walkers'. The spacious bedrooms are well kept if functional; quietest ones (with shower) overlook the little inner courtyard. 'The staff are pleasant, service is efficient, and the breakfast coffee is good,' one visitor wrote. Another liked the 'unfussy decor, high dark wood ceilings, safe behind a picture (very Poirot) and functional bathroom with a powerful shower'. Many reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance.
