This 19th century manor house has been converted into a charming country hotel restaurant by its English owners, Hazel and Peter Newington. They run it with son and daughter, Jordan and Cassie. It is conveniently located for visits to the Loire chateaux, vineyards, Amboise, Tours, and Blois but benefits from a peaceful rural setting surrounded by farmlands and woods. The 24 bedrooms, named after local flowers, are mostly in garden annexes, some with terraces, many large enough for families. In the summer there is a heated swimming pool , in winter a log fire. The spacious veranda style restaurant, featuring seasonally changing menus, is very popular. Children have their own menus. Drinks are served on a large terrace in fine weather. Bicycles are loaned free of charge for exploring the area and picnics are available. Jacuzzi/hot tub, massages/ beauty treatments, tennis court, childrens play area. Overlooks a friendly 9 hole golf course, clubs can be hired.
