A 12th-century turreted former priory has been sympathetically restored, and is now a B&B hotel owned by Isabelle and Alan Sohn, and located two minutes' walk from Amboise centre. Rooms are all individually furnished and come in different categories, but all are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel has many fireplaces, sweeping staircases, stained-glass windows and beamed ceilings. The well-kept gardens have a heated swimming pool. There is no restaurant, but the town has several very close by.
