The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Sister hotel to the Hotel V Nesplein, this stylish boutique hotel is spread over several buildings (previously office buildings and apartments). As well as rooms, there are loft apartments with full kitchens in a separate building. The lobby has a striking circular fireplace with a vintage sofa, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the street. There's also a bar, where breakfast is served in the morning. Rooms are functional rather than plush, with showers only, and some are very small (avoid the basement rooms if possible) – but perfect for those who spend most of their time exploring the city. A quick tram ride takes you to Museumplein, and the hotel is close to the Albert Cuypstraat market.
