Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
In the village of Neuville-St-Amand in Picardy is Claude and Sébastien Meiresonne”s 1900s handsome white manor house (Logis de France), owned by their family since 1970 and set in three hectares of grounds. The rooms are in the main house and a plainer annexe, and are decorated in muted colours with plain wood furnishings. The real draw here is the food. The stylish restaurant has large windows and a number of menus; recommended is the St Jacques and lobster with fresh pasta; scrambled eggs with truffles. The hotel is a popular stopover en route to Calais.
