This 'very peaceful' hotel stands on a hill amid pine trees, in a well-kept garden with swimming pool (where snacks are served in summer). 'It is architecturally pleasing, in Provençal style,' say recent visitors, 'and comfortably equipped for good-weather living.' Some rooms have Provençal decor, others are modern, and nearly all have private terraces. The solarium, with indoor pool and hammam, overlooks the Mediterranean. The lounge, bar and restaurant open on to a large terrace. An a la carte or set dinner menu is served (eg, asperges tièdes à l'œuf poché; dorade grillée, émincée d'artichauds violets), and many restaurants are nearby. Most bedrooms are duplex, with terrace. 'Staff are pleasant.'
