Good Hotel Guide Review
An affordable oasis in one of London’s smartest neighbourhoods, Charlotte and Matt Goodsall’s peaceful, personably run Belgravia hotel occupies a pair of Grade II listed Georgian town houses and is within walking distance of popular tourist spots. Smartly refurbished bedrooms vary in size, shape and layout, but all retain their original high ceiling, cornices and sash windows. In every room: comfy beds, crisp linens and natural toiletries. Upper-floor rooms are up several flights of stairs (staff will help with luggage). The lounge has guidebooks and magazines; the ‘buzzy’ Buttery café-restaurant is open for casual all-day dining and has tables in a pretty walled garden. (Underground: Victoria)
