Good Hotel Guide Review
Bright modernity filters through this smart, surprisingly affordable Belgravia B&B within walking distance of some of London’s most iconic sights. Run by Charlotte and Matt Goodsall, staff are always on hand to help carry luggage up the many flights of stairs across the two Georgian town houses. Uncluttered bedrooms have their original high ceiling, cornicing and fireplace, sash windows and the occasional creaky floorboard. They vary in size (those in the eaves are smallest), but all have the necessary basics – tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bathroom with good toiletries, a safe, a wide-screen TV. A small sitting area has guidebooks and magazines; the neat rear garden is scented with lavender and roses in the summer. (Underground: Victoria)
