Good Hotel Guide Review
Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of cava at this good-value hotel, part of a Spanish chain, within walking distance of the National Theatre and the South Bank. Understated modern bedrooms (some small) have floor-to-ceiling windows with ‘good double-glazing’; the best rooms have panoramic views of London landmarks. Superior rooms have added extras – bathrobes, slippers, a capsule coffee machine. There are newspapers and magazines to read in the lounge, but head straight to the eighth-floor Waterloo Sky bar to gaze at the city from above – cocktails optional. ‘Excellent cooked dishes’ and a ‘considerable breakfast buffet’ are a good way to start the day.
