Good Hotel Guide Review
‘Helpful and very friendly’, Lorraine Pun has ‘put much thought’ into her ‘beautifully decorated’ B&B near the Caledonian Canal. The bay-windowed, sandstone Victorian house has a casual elegance – tartan rugs on polished wood floors; paintings and objets d’art from a local gallery – plus space to sit, shaded by wide parasols, in the pretty garden. Bright, homely bedrooms are equipped with useful amenities including an espresso machine, a silent mini-fridge and an iPod dock. Start the day with a ‘great breakfast’ (ordered the night before), served in the conservatory. 10 mins’ walk from the centre; well located for exploring local attractions and the loch.
