Good Hotel Guide Review
Urbane cool design and personal touches fill Sam Nayar and Gaenor Loftus’s stylish B&B in a white stucco Victorian villa just up the slopes of the Great Orme. Period features (stained-glass windows and oak-panelling) form a backdrop to modern and vintage furnishings and fabrics. Regularly updated bedrooms, each different, might have a copper bath, a pair of velvet-covered cocktail chairs, mood lighting in an overhead canopy. The Boudoir has wallpaper encrusted with crystals, an aubergine bed and black chandelier. In every room, high-end toiletries and high-spec technology. A DVD library and piles of wool throws and crocheted granny-square blankets invite a cosy evening in. Occasional pop-up dining events. A short stroll from the beach.
