Good Hotel Guide Review
Surrounded by fields corduroyed by vineyards, Fiona Shiner has turned a sympathetically restored barn into an artful B&B. Suites have their own cosy sitting area downstairs, with under-floor heating, a gas log-burner and epic views across the valley or vine-covered hills from floor-to-ceiling windows; a private terrace is the perfect spot to sip the vineyard’s own Bacchus white. Afternoons can be spent touring the vineyard and winery, followed by sampling through the list at a taster evening. Breakfast (optional) is a locally sourced hamper of fresh bread, croissants, preserves, yoghurt, fresh fruit, orange juice. Stop by the Cellar Door shop to stock up on bottles from the vineyard before heading home.
