Good Hotel Guide Review
One in a row of Victorian town houses, a five-minute stroll from the pier, this Kemptown B&B has some ‘lovely little touches’ that please appreciative guests. Richard Adams and Simon Throp are the helpful, informative owners. Some of the crisp, contemporary bedrooms may be compact, but each room is ‘very clean, and has everything you need’: bottles of water, tea- and coffee-making facilities, chocolates. One room has a private patio garden with seating; another, a Juliet balcony. Works by local artists decorate the lounge, where guests have books to borrow, and access to a laptop and printer. Cooked-to-order breakfasts are served till 10.30 am on the weekend; a continental breakfast may be taken in the room.
